BBFW 2026: 3rd Day Fashion Show (Part I)

Photos by Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week

The third morning of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week feels like a love letter to the art of dressing a bride, where six designers open the day with everything bridal fashion has to offer.

On the morning of the 24th of April, six designers take to the runway and, without fail, bring collections that seem to carry their own universe. Together, they remind us why the world keeps coming back to Barcelona: because nowhere else does bridal fashion feel quite this alive.

Vaishali

Some collections are made to be worn, but this one is made to be felt. Vaishali’s bridal offering is born in the sacred space of the heart, inspired by Anahata, the unmanifested sound, and celebrates a love that lives beyond language; it is pure and eternal.

The silhouettes are sculpted like an embrace: fluid yet powerful, moving with the quiet force of two energies merging into one. Handmade fabrics breathe with intention, and intricate cords trace creative shapes all around the body, in a light, creamy tone with gold hues adding on to the presentation. This is not simply bridal couture, but more of a spiritual union translated into form as a celebration of connection.

At the intersection of Japanese serenity and sculptural drama, Kiyoko Hata’s latest collection redefines what it means to be a bride. Precise, luminous, and poetic, each gown is built around the house’s beloved emblem —the rose — as if each dress is a gift, a symbol of love made of fabric. Floral motifs are woven into shape and texture rather than merely placed upon it, accompanied by soft movements giving every piece a natural, breathing rhythm.

Tulle and organza float in perfect harmony with the wearer, and detachable details allow a single gown to reveal entirely new perspectives of its bride. Serene and gentle yet unforgettable, this is visual poetry, perfected from every angle.

What if history had unfolded differently? Candelas & Felipa’s high-craftsmanship collection dares to imagine an alternate timeline — one where the Habsburg dynasty never relinquished the Crown, and Spanish fashion continued to shape the pulse of Europe.

El Alcázar is that imagining made real, with architectural silhouettes, weighty volumes, and noble materials redefined through a modern eye. Ceramists, damascene makers, embroiderers, jewelers, and cabinetmakers from Castilla-La Mancha all lend their hands to this grand fiction, building clean, column-like figures or sheen ensembles with strong architectural presence, while others have a more graphic, technical construction. The result is fashion as a love letter to Spanish culture — luxurious, noticeable, and alive with the beginning of a chapter that rewrites the future.

Unbridled’s fourth collection is for the bride who refuses to be only one thing. Avant-garde yet refined, Collection IV moves through sculptural silhouettes and rich, luxurious fabrics — nostalgic 3D textures and exquisite jacquards sitting effortlessly alongside clean, contemporary satins.

Additionally, the transformative detachable pieces allow each gown to evolve and elevate throughout the day, offering endless possibilities born of impeccable tailoring. There is a quiet confidence here, a philosophy that dressing beautifully should feel like freedom.

In Pimpinela, Olga Macià finds her inspiration in the beautiful friction of duos. The confrontation of perspectives that, in the end, enriches everything it touches. The showcase clearly pointed towards fluidity, with lightweight fabrics to balance structure and movement.

A flamenco spirit dances beneath the surface of classically drawn silhouettes and innovative suits, while tailored ensambles with textures rich in embroidered pearls, ruffled plumetis, lace, and chiffon speak to a woman who carries her femininity with quiet, assured grace. This is the collection for her, the one who is a little more demure, and all the more magnetic for it.

Noto is a collection woven from lace, light, and emotion, being ethereal in the truest sense. Hand-embroidered details, sheer layers, and the softest touches of pearls come together not merely to create a look, but a feeling: one of youthful softness, of a beauty that lingers long after the last dance.

Behind every stitch is the house’s unwavering commitment to excellence — traditional techniques held in the hands of expert craftsmen, elevated by innovative design. To wear Noto is to step into something delicate and unforgettable, something that feels like the beginning of everything.

As the morning of April 24th draws to a close, what lingers is not just the memory of gowns and silhouettes, but of something harder to name…the feeling that beauty, when crafted with true intention, has the power to move us. Six designers, six visions, one shared conviction: that a bride deserves to be unforgettable. Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week has, once again, guaranteed she will be.
