The Little Mermaid made an entrance in BBFW. Serravalle’s Disney story-inspired gowns wowed the audience with a dashing display of silhouettes and craftmanship.
Ariel’s fairytale may exist “beyond the sea, in your dreams” but “AQUAL 2026” was right in front of the public’s eyes to be admired.
Everyone was captivated by Serravalle’s clever take on the classic Disney tale. The collection drew inspiration from two elements of the “Little Mermaid” story. Firstly, the sea and the fluid movement of the ocean waves. Secondly, the romantic love story between Ariel and Eric. Riccardo Serravalle’s haute couture became a metaphor for their love story, which every bride dreams to experience.
Sculptural elegance and ethereal details were fused to create a flowy effect in each gown, like the rhythm of the ocean waves.
Additionally, it’s important to note that the “AQUAL 2026” collection followed the brand’ eco-friendly policy. The dresses were conceived with sustainable materials and techniques, all while maintaining the luxurious quality of a high-end firm like the one in question.
The collection tells a tale of love, wonder and change. Serravalle continues to set higher standards for the bridal fashion, inspirating other brands to prioritize eco-consciousness, without forgetting rich storytelling and craftmanship.
