On the third day of Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Katy Corso unveiled a collection titled “PEARLfection.”
The Spring 2026 proposal was a true tribute to the timeless elegance of pearls, with a contemporary and confident take on the bride of today.
From the very first moments of the show, it was clear that we were witnessing something that valued both tradition and boldness. The dresses featured clean lines and classic cuts, but with details that added an unexpected touch of modernity.
There were Basque-style dropped waists, elegant two-piece ensembles, intricately embroidered corsets, and removable elements that gave each silhouette versatility and drama.
The aesthetic of the collection evokes soft echoes of the past, without ever slipping into nostalgia. Everything is well-structured, designed for the woman who wants to marry with personality, elegance, and a hint of irreverence. Each dress tells a different story of femininity: at times delicate, at times seductive; sometimes classic, sometimes surprising.
The attention to detail and execution was evident in every piece. Exceptional quality fabrics, flawless finishes, and a clear emphasis on versatility — allowing each bride to find her own reflection in one of the designs.
It was impossible not to notice the confidence with which the models walked: each one seemed to interpret the dress in her own way, as if it had been made precisely for her.
Founded in 2018, the Ukrainian brand Katy Corso has steadily built a reputation for its clear vision and artisanal care in creating gowns that are not just garments, but forms of expression.
The new collection reaffirms this commitment to authenticity: to create dresses for real women, with stories, with a desire for beauty and distinction.
With “PEARLfection”, Katy Corso brought to BBFW a concept of quiet luxury — feminine and self-assured — a kind of luxury that doesn’t need to shout to be heard. And in that balance between tradition and modernity, we find what so many brides are searching for: something that feels truly their own.
