The name chosen for this collection made perfect sense the moment the first dress appeared on the runway. The lightness and softness of the fabrics, along with a colour palette reminiscent of sandy beaches and the blue of the ocean and sky, instantly transported us elsewhere. 

Indeed, the handmade pleats, a signature of the house since its inception, gained unexpected strength in this collection. The asymmetries, subtle yet intentional, perfectly embodied the movement of the tides. Each dress held a delicate balance between structure and fluidity, between restraint and freedom. 

During the show, a silver-toned dress appeared, something entirely new in Marta Martí’s universe, with a transparent organza veil, almost imperceptible, that extended the movement of the dress like an extension of the body. 

However, the most surprising aspect of this presentation was the absence of any attempt to impress. The new collection did not call for strong reactions, but rather invited quiet contemplation. 

Marta Martí did not choose to mark her brand’s ten-year milestone with a bold statement, but with a deep breath. A collection that does not look outward, but inward. 

In the end, a sincere and emotional round of applause came from those who have followed the designer’s work over the past ten years, as well as those discovering it for the first time.
