BBFW, the most important event in the international bridal industry, returns with an edition that promises to exceed all expectations.
From April 23 to 27, the city of Barcelona will become the global epicentre of bridal fashion, bringing together over 30,000 visitors, including designers, buyers, trend experts, and specialised media.
As every year, the event will kick off with a series of haute couture bridal shows on April 23, followed by three intense days of exhibitions from April 25 to 27 at the Fira de Barcelona – Montjuïc venue (Plaza España). More than 20 countries will be represented, establishing BBFW as an essential platform for established brands and emerging designers seeking to conquer the global market.
Romania: a key player on the international stage
For over a decade, Romania has maintained a steady presence at BBFW, establishing itself as a benchmark for sophisticated design, artisanal craftsmanship, and the use of high-quality natural materials. This will be no exception in 2025: eleven of the most prominent names in Romanian bridal fashion will showcase their creations, thanks to the support of the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade and in collaboration with the Bucharest Fashion District.
Brands such as Divine Atelier, Otilia Brailoiu, Ersa Atelier, and Nava Bride—pioneers in their participation since the fair’s early years—return once again with innovative proposals that have captivated buyers around the world. Their success not only reflects the quality and creativity of Romanian design but also inspires new labels to leap into internationalisation.
The Romanian pavilion, occupying 520 square meters, has been strategically distributed across both exhibition halls, maximising visibility and facilitating direct contact with international buyers.

Defining the future of the industry
Beyond the runways and booths, BBFW is a meeting point for those setting the pace of the bridal industry. This year, the event promises not only to impress with its scale but also with its creative diversity, commitment to sustainability, and focus on innovation.
The strong presence of Romanian designers is a testament to the growing importance of emerging talent from Eastern Europe and how bridal fashion can also be an expression of identity, art, and international vision.
