Electrifying and unique, Messika’s haute joaillerie runway show lights up Paris Fashion Week.
The evening opened with a five-star line-up. In the front row were the Maison’s friends and the most prominent personalities of the moment: Cardi B, Natalia Vodianova, Isabelle Adjani, Lucien Laviscount, Future, Nina Dobrev, Cole Sprouse, Balqees Al Fathi, Heidi Klum, MIYEON and Simon Gong. All gathered with Valérie Messika on a stage designed as a real soundboard, where the greatest hits of French electro were played. From *Supernature* by Cerrone to remixes by Daft Punk, this fourth Messika show was fast-paced and powerful.
Prior to the show, charismatic top model Ashley Graham hosted these unique moments, streamed live on Messika’s social media channels.
For the event, the Artistic Director raised the bar and expanded the inspirations of the Midnight Sun collection, with a more vibrant Opus II. She unveiled 125 new creations, sharpened in style. From voluptuous wraps to bold shapes and stones, gold and diamonds pulsed with intensity across a series of perfectly executed silhouettes. Without restraint, the artistic director played with the unexpected, daring to present original pieces: lip jewelry, body belts for men and women, headpieces and nail jewelry. Valérie Messika revealed a liberated and carefree vision of Haute Joaillerie.
The highlight was when the Maison unveiled the stunning Supernature and Fragments of Time necklaces. Monumental and extraordinary, these two rivers of diamonds defied all conventions with the incredible carats of their stones, which exceeded 36 carats.
Spectacular and hypnotic, Fragments of Time mesmerized the audience as it closed the runway show around the neck of the iconic Eva Herzigova. For this unprecedented diamond necklace, Valérie Messika dared to combine a stunning 36-carat yellow diamond with an incomparable 33-carat white stone. Two fragments of eternity intricately intertwined in a sensual diamond setting. A dazzling piece, the necklace alone boasts 232 stones, totaling 129 carats.
This show goes beyond jewelry; it embodies the essence of our Maison. It is an exceptional moment driven by music and fashion. It reflects our energy and uniqueness, which drive us to continuously create our Haute Joaillerie pieces as true fashion statements.
Models and friends of the Maison, such as Taylor Hill and Cindy Bruna, paraded around a mesmerizing XXL widescreen cube. With a subtle nod to the eighties spirit that inspired the show, Paris Jackson, daughter of the King of Pop, instantly caught the eye among all these enchanting silhouettes. The intense show concluded with an exhilarating final tableau, starring the stunning Eva Herzigova. Following previous collaborations with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Carla Bruni, Valérie Messika continues to expand these luminous partnerships with the biggest names in fashion.
Once again, Messika brilliantly blended her inspirations for this suspended moment between fashion and High Jewelry.
