During Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, we had the pleasure to interview Mark Ingram and talk a little bit about the brand’s new collection, trends and ambitions.
I want all brides, at any time in their lives, to look at their wedding photographs and feel as elegant and current as if their big day were today"
Elegant and sophisticated, he presented a collection all dedicated to his home: New York. Inspired by this love of the city, he brought the softer, more romantic side of the city to the dresses. The tones flowed throughout the spring color palette, taking inspiration from vintage Dior and Hollywood muses – including Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly – elegance at its finest.
Highlights on the catwalk included Theresa, a lace mermaid dress, Asta, a model with a mermaid silhouette, square neckline and detachable overskirt, and Sadie, dedicated to brides who appreciate a touch of floral filigree with a sleeveless neckline. Merisol, a strapless mermaid dress with an empire waist and French haute couture bow, didn’t go unnoticed either.
It should be noted that each model is made with women in mind who want a timeless wedding dress with a modern twist. In addition to styles with pockets, detachable elements and colorful options, Mark Ingram’s collection even features a mini dress that would be perfect for an elopement or after-party! Of different styles, one thing is certain: they fit in with a variety of formalities, styles and desired themes. It’s really hard to choose.
