Civil ceremony? Don't give up glamour!
Isabel Sanchis

When we talk about civil ceremonies, let’s remember that we shouldn’t give up on glamour. We know that they do not have a protocol as demanding as other types of ceremonies.

Try to take advantage of precisely that, remembering that you are the protagonist of this great day.

It is normal that we imagine civil weddings as simple ceremonies, but that is not entirely true. In reality, there is a lot of freedom of choice when it comes to wedding dresses. There are many different models to choose from, from long dresses to minimal looks, in every sense, with or without neckline.

Transparencies and necklines

Transparencies are very common in wedding dresses for the unique sensuality and elegance they convey to a woman’s figure. There’s no need to follow a strict protocol; in a civil ceremony, the bride feels free to wear any dress without restrictions. If you’re a fan of bolder designs, enhance the sensual woman within you with deep necklines and sheer fabrics.

Whether delicately incorporated or boldly displayed, these sheer details can elevate your look, exuding confidence and sophistication. So, dare to be bold, embrace the transparency, and revel in the enchantment of your special day.

All colors

Brides no longer have to wear white. There’s a vast array of colors for your dress to stand out. Be creative and original. Choose a color that holds special meaning for you, mix and match other colors, or opt for color in the details. You can also coordinate the chosen color with the guests’ outfits by indicating it in the invitation’s dress code.

Coordinate with your partner to ensure your outfits complement each other and reflect your shared style. Remember, it’s your day to celebrate love and unity, so wear what makes you feel confident and radiant.

Considering the size does not matter

Opt for the mini or the midi. Your dress doesn’t have to reach the floor, nor does it need a minimum train length. If you’re an irreverent and non-traditional bride, mini skirts or dresses are a great option.

Don’t forget about the veil, it’ll be the icing on the cake. If you prefer something less daring, midi dresses are a wonderful and more comfortable choice. Find the perfect balance between style and comfort for your big day!

Feathers and satin

Feathers are a bold and stylish detail that elevates your look, making it extravagant and eye-catching, all while maintaining elegance. On the other hand, the use of satin, in pieces like “sleep dresses,” conveys a message of being “comfortably sophisticated.” If we adore these two elements separately, just imagine them combined into one!
