BBFW’s catwalk sets the pace for global bridal fashion

The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) is gearing up for its highly anticipated event, set to be held from April 17th to 20th, showcasing the latest bridal fashion creations for the 2025 season.

With an impressive lineup of 37 designers, including more than a dozen making their debuts, the BBFW catwalk promises to be a captivating global stage where creativity and design take center stage, enchanting brides, grooms, and guests from around the world.

Bridal fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals alike are eagerly anticipating the BBFW, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Ministry of Business and Labour of the Government of Catalonia. This four-day extravaganza will feature a diverse array of collections from renowned designers and emerging talents, totaling over 900 exquisite pieces, ranging from wedding dresses and groom attire to cocktail and evening wear.

Highlighting esteemed designers and having a diverse global presence

The BBFW catwalk will showcase the creations of esteemed designers such as Jesús Peiró, Atelier Pronovias, Isabel Sanchis, Sophie et Voilà, Yolancris, and many more. This year’s event will also see the presence of international designers, including Agnieszka Swiatly (Poland), Marylise & Rembo Styling, and Carta Branca (Belgium), among others. The inclusion of global talents like The Atelier Couture by Prof. Jimmy Choo (Malaysia), Joli Poli (Vietnam), and Madame Burcu (Turkey) adds an exciting international flair to the catwalk.

Noteworthy brands making their debut at the BBFW include Allure Bridal, Caroline Castigliano, Sima Couture from Germany, Serina from Japan, and Alicia Rueda from Spain. The fashion show “The Edit” will feature an eclectic mix of designers, including Olga Maciá, Camila Elena, Andrea Lalanza, and Serravalle, alongside Italian designers Claudio di Mare and Donatella Gallo, making their first appearance in Barcelona.

With designers hailing from countries such as Poland, Belgium, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey, Ukraine, Italy, Bulgaria, the USA, and more, the BBFW truly represents a melting pot of global bridal fashion trends. This international collaboration underlines the event’s commitment to showcasing the evolution and diversity of bridal couture.

The inclusion of brands like Allure Bridal, Caroline Castigliano, and Serina reflects the BBFW’s dedication to featuring both established and emerging talents, providing a platform for them to showcase their unique perspectives and contribute to the ongoing evolution of bridal fashion.
