Famed fashion luminary Giambattista Valli, celebrated for his haute couture and ready-to-wear creations, will unveil his exquisite wedding dress collection at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW). His maison shines on international red carpets, and the French Republic honored him with the prestigious Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

This event gives a sneak peek into his third “Love Collection” for 2025, showcasing iconic designs. On another note, the grand reveal takes the stage during Barcelona Bridal Night, the glamorous evening gala of BBFW; scheduled for April 17, 2024, at a breathtaking city venue.

In the past two editions, Elie Saab and Viktor&Rolf hosted this illustrious show. Those previous editions acclaimed brands like: captivating buyers, fashion industry connoisseurs, influencers, A-list celebrities, and media representatives.

Born in Rome, Giambattista Valli began his creative journey at London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Collaborations with luxury brands in Rome marked his career’s inception. Furthermore, he moved to Paris in 1997, trained under designer Emanuel Ungaro, and eventually helmed the ready-to-wear line at a prestigious French house.

In 2005, he founded his own ‘Maison,’ redefining timeless, natural fashion. His designs won over modern, international women, including luminaries like Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez. Hailed as “the most French of Italian designers,” he joined the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 2011 and received the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2017. In 2021, Valli launched the “Love Collection,” embracing the brand’s signature romantic and innovative DNA. This made him one of the most recognizable and admired on the international scene.

BBFW 2024 is “Now”.

BBFW, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Departament d’Empresa i Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya; is the most relevant bridal fashion show in the world. Under the slogan “Now” and with a bold image – made by artificial intelligence – the event is already preparing the 2024 edition to be held at the Montjuïc venue and will showcase the collections of major fashion brands, haute couture houses and new talents.

In addition to the catwalk, the show will present the creations of more than 300 firms: most of them international. Also, the trade show will become the center of business and networking for professionals, buyers; entrepreneurs and leading designers of the bridal universe on an international scale.
