Last monday, the fashion world has gathered at the red carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the annual Met Gala. This year, the Gala themed on the fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. 

The gala honoured the legacy of the late designer who was at the helm of some of the biggest-name fashion houses in the world, including Chanel and Fendi. The purpose was to raise funds for The Met’s Costume Institute.
