Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is offering the chance to attend a lot of events that are available on their platform. One of these events that they are offering online is called “Conversations about the present and future of the bridal fashion industry” run by Wedding Media International.
Rosa Oliva, director of Wedding Media International, establishes conversations with different professionals in the bridal industry in order to determine where is it right now and to foresee where is the actual situation leading us.
The first interviewee is Vicky Luján, a journalist specialized in weddings and bridal fashion, that is offering an interview exclusively for VBBFW Digital Experience and for the first time, available to everyone: both people in the sector and future brides to be. Together with Oliva, they discuss the advantages of digitizing the show.
Rosa Oliva also interviews Andrea Marchesi, Director of IED – Istituto Europeo di Design– who analyzes the importance of education, dedication and constant trainee in fashion. IED focuses mainly on countries such as Spain, Italy and Brazil to educate and prepare future fashion professionals in an increasingly globalized industry.
Likewise, the event has the presence of Priscila Llorens, a Spanish wedding planner, who recounts the current situation in which weddings and bridal shows are found and tries to determine the role of social networks and fashion magazines to determine and decide the dream wedding dress.
