Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is about to end the 2020 season -one of the most unexpected and full of surprises- with two more days of fashion shows on the way for all users to enjoy. Today, Monday, a total of five firms have walked the runway -among them, one of the most anticipated, Pronovias-.
Today’s shows were opened by Amelia Casablanca, an Italian firm with more than fifty years of experience in the sector, which has presented a collection of timeless dresses with embroidered fabrics, lace and crystals. The designs incorporate ultra-modern, near sheer bustiers, plunging necklines and French lace to create dresses with lots of volume and flowing lines.
From the hand of Korean-born designer, Hyejin Jung, presents Vestal‘s spring / summer 2021 collection, which is made up of a total of three high-end brands. For this reason, the collection bets on varied dresses so that every woman can find the dress of her dreams. Since 2021, the firm has worked together with Swarovski to select and design all the jewelry for the designs.
Higar Novias, a Spanish brand, presents the collection “Legacy” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the firm. The designs were created by Manu Garcia and Valerio Luna and wanted to highlight some of the most iconic details of the firm such as the jeweled fabrics, the transparencies and the tulles with soft glitter and delicate lace. Likewise, following market trends, they have decided to incorporate dresses with mermaid cuts and embroidery that cover the shoulders and waist.
Nicole Milano, an Italian firm that has been incorporated in the Pronovias billboard since 2017, presents the collection “A love letter from Italy” inspired by the Italian culture. The creative designer, Nicole Cavallo, has embodied those iconographic elements in her designs and has created a total of three new collections. The first collection called “the charm of Florence” stands out for the bathtub necklines and long sleeves in pale pink colors and the champagne colored tulles. The collection “the prestige of Sicily” stands out for the handmade embroidery and three-dimensional jewels, the mermaid silhouettes with baroque lace and layers of tulle. The last collection called “Matera Eternal” stands out for its feminine silhouettes, ball gowns with endless tails, lace and deep necklines.
The last brand to walk on the catwalk is Pronovias, a leading brand in the bridal industry present in more than 100 countries, presents the collection of 2021 called Premiere, which was inspired by the elegance of the movie premieres. The designs, which were supervised by the new artistic director of the firm Alessandra Riunado, were made using abstract embroidery, designs in white, ivory and silver-toned rhinestones. Also, this year, Pronovias incorporates two unconventional new silhouettes for the new 2021 collection: the fusion between A and princess cuts and a mermaid style with the movement provided by the flared. Among these combinations, we also find long sleeves with an angular cut and a selection of designs in red. For this reason, the Premiere collection by Atelier Pronovias is ideal for any body and is designed for a triumphal entry into the premiere of your own film.
